At The Well Ministries 2013

Every truth passes through three stages before it is recognized. In the first it is ridiculed...in the second it is opposed...and in the third it is regarded as self evident.     Arthur Schopenhauer (1786-1860) German philosopher

Several years ago at one of the colleges on our tour, a professor approached our display and invited me to "present my prolife evidence" to his 200 Sociology students.  Every year since this teacher calls me to "raise the prolife flag and see if anyone salutes."

A few weeks ago I returned for yet another presentation, using a great PowerPoint format (the screen photos in the class are more clear than my email picture). The professor also requests that I show the "Abort73" video footage of real abortions being performed.

I speak for about 30 minutes and then open the class for Q and A.  That's the best part.

After I finished the hour and thanked the students for their attention, a student approached me and introduced herself. She told me that she was looking forward to the class because she wanted to meet the guy who talked her mother out of an abortion 20 years ago outside an abortion center.

What a moment as I looked into the eyes of a charming young woman saved from the talons of death.

We hugged and exchanged emails.  She wants to get involved in the Pregnancy Resource Center.  What a great testimony she will bring to the table.

As Bernard engages a large group of students at Consumnes College, he doesn't know what ground is fertile or hardened...he just throws out the seeds and the Spirit goes to work.
But if we don't go to the fields, we're guaranteed to miss the harvest.

Many students were ready to listen and share their stories after we "primed the pump" during the first hours at Consumnes College.

One woman told me she had worked in the recovery room of Planned Parenthood but quit because it bothered her too much to hear the women's first words as they woke up after the abortion.

I asked her what were the words?

The first words were, "Is it gone?"

When the protesters gathered at Sierra College to counter our Project Truth, they asked us to "trust women."

I don't trust men or women after 55 million abortions in America alone.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

After a solid conversation that ended with the girl in the green taking the book "One Heartbeat Away," I am forever thankful for the freedom to be on the campuses.

These two women thanked me for coming over to talk with them.

On a 20 degree day in Washington DC at this year's March for Life, I happened to see Joseph Sheidler, one of the pioneers of the abortion abolitionist movement.
Joseph stood in the quad at U.C. Davis, thirty years ago, and took on the students...as a young Don Blythe watched him effectively debate the brainiacs on campus about abortion.

The preparations of the heart belong to man,
but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.

                                                                                                                      Proverbs 16:1

We've completed the Spring Tour and are already preparing for the Fall Tour. We are saving babies outside abortion centers right now and are praying for laborers for the harvest. In my next letter I will continue with highlights of the final four colleges and high schools of the Spring.
In His Steps,

Don

Thank you for standing with me.

I am Don Blythe of At the Well Ministries. This ministry of 28 years uses the the abortion issue as a springboard for sharing the Gospel.

My mission field comprises three main areas of outreach:  the abortion mills, high schools, and college campuses.

The email newsletters you receive give a hands-on look at what this ministry is all about.

I do not use the content of the letters to talk about financial support, and for 28 years the Lord has supplied my needs through the prayers and financial support of a small number of churches and individuals who believe in what I do and have seen the fruit of this labor.

If you desire to support my ministry, you can do so through regular mail or through the CashLinq donation link provided. CashLinq is a Christian direct-giving program that allows you to follow your giving history, and the cost to At the Well Ministries is minimal.

Thank you for standing with me.
