"Professor" John Ficker and "assistant professor" Rod Perez begin class at Monterey Peninsula College after a Political Science teacher led her students to our display for a educational experience. She told us that the students were firing questions at her in the classroom about our display that was set up outside their classroom, and she said "Lets go outside and ask the Project Truth people."

At one point several students challenged our use of the word "baby" to describe the preborn. Some students said that it's a "fetus," not a baby. John asked the "class" if they knew what the word fetus means and suddenly several students pulled out their phones to Google the definition and try to nail John.

Gotta love 21st century technology!

John answered correctly that the word fetus means offspring or little one and is a medical word used to describe a stage of development of the preborn baby. The word fetus was never meant to be used to dehumanize the baby in its earliest stage of life any more than the word toddler or infant after birth.

The students finally found the Googled word fetus, realized that they really didn't know what they were talking about, and got a little more reserved about challenging "Professor" John the rest of the time. It was a great teachable moment.

It was one of many great moments on the college quad that day.

At San Jose State we were in the middle of 25,000 students for two days and gave out over four thousand Gospel/prolife brochures, along with our defense-of-the-faith books.

I challenged this professor to stop and talk with me rather than snicker with emotional gestures.  He stopped and we had a great dialogue that helped him see the truth.

The College newspaper did frontpage articles on our display the next two days.

At Sac State University we were met by another 20,000 students. We set up in two spots engaging many lost souls for two more days.

Cheryl, one of our newest team members, listened to Rod articulate truth with two testy students, getting some on-the-job training.

She then went to work at the next campus and has fit right in with Project Truth.

Many students continue to express that they are shocked by the reality of the abortion photos and will be forever prolife.

We are having a fruitful Fall Tour!

We even found the dogs love our message.

Near one campus I found a church building with this banner.

However, it is written;

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.  Matt &:13-14

I am Don Blythe of At the Well Ministries. This ministry of 30 years uses the the abortion issue as a springboard for sharing the Gospel.

My mission field comprises three main areas of outreach:  the abortion mills, high schools, and college campuses.

The email newsletters you receive give a hands-on look at what this ministry is all about.

I do not use the content of the letters to talk about financial support, and for 28 years the Lord has supplied my needs through the prayers and financial support of a small number of churches and individuals who believe in what I do and have seen the fruit of this labor.

If you desire to support my ministry, you can do so through regular mail or through the CashLinq donation link provided. CashLinq is a Christian direct-giving program that allows you to follow your giving history, and the cost to At the Well Ministries is minimal.

Thank you for standing with me.
