More Spring Tour Highlights |
|
|

It was a great Spring tour with many challenging moments as we took the Truth Team to the Bay area and spent four days on two very liberal campuses. It was apparent the students don't get confronted with the truth very much and our presence caused quite a stir in the Las Gatos area.
But we stood God's ground and had great dialogues with the students.
|

The faculty at De Anza College tried to have our display removed, but ran into "free speech" issues and decided to counter us with a protest (see photo below) that only brought more attention to our message.
|

The administrator, in the blue, organized the protest and tried to get students to ignore our presence on their campus, but it didn't seem to work, as we handed out a couple thousand brochures.
The administrator, at one point, got in my face to show his frustration. I reminded him to be a role model to the students on how to have a civil dialogue.
He didn't come back the next day. |

Lila Rose's brother from Live Action joined us for one day and took on the protesters. He's in the middle, listening to the pro-choice rhetoric before presenting to these students the truth. The students listened, most hearing the truth for the first time. Some in the crowd began to defend our message after listening to Paul. |

Bernard roams the campus with a powerful Gospel presentation. He is faithful to the Gospel and very effectively tells the students that there is coming a day when each of us will answer to God.
He then tells them the plan of salvation and gives them information on how to call out to God for the forgiveness of sins.
This is the main reason God blesses our efforts with Project Truth. We are also redoing our pro-life brochure to include the Gospel so we don't have to give out more than one brochure. |
Our Project Truth team leaves the college campuses about 2 PM and head over to a nearby high school to catch the students going home. Sometimes we are met by the local police who have been called by the Principal of the school, insisting that "we do not have the right to be on the sidewalk in front of his school." Here at Prospect High School the police knew the law and refused to let the Principal control them. But not so at the next school we went to engage.
|
At another Bay area high school I was arrested, unarrested, arrested, then unarrested again. In the photo, these police officers are trying to explain to the officer in charge that we were within the law.
In his frustration, he finally let me go. While I was dealing with him, our team handed out lots of literature, because the students wanted to know what it was that the police and the Principal didn't want them to see. |
Right now I am working on the Fall Tour that will take our team all over Central and Northern California to visit the final twelve college campuses of our goal to engage all 50 college campuses in three years. That's incredible! We have been all over this state challenging hundreds of thousands of high school and college students. Our stories could fill a book of how God changes hearts and minds.
These final twelve colleges include some of the most liberal campuses yet. We will be on San Francisco State, U.C. Santa Cruz, U.C. Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa Community College, and by special request, Sac City College.
During the summer, I am continuing to go to abortion mills and trying to save babies. I will also be helping train young people at a pro-life training camp in Southern California. I've also been invited to speak to a few churches.
Thank you for making this ministry possible. |
In humility, correcting those in opposition,
So God might grant them repentance,
So that they might know the truth,
And come to their senses,
And escape the snare of the devil,
Having been taken captive by him, to do his will. 2 Timothy 2 |
In His Steps,

I am Don Blythe of At The Well Ministries Inc. This ministry of 28 years uses the the Abortion issue as a springboard for sharing the Gospel.
My Mission Field comprises three main areas of outreach; the abortion mills, high schools, and college campuses.
The email newsletters you receive give a hands-on look at what this ministry is all about.
I do not use the content of the letters to talk about financial support, and for 28 years the Lord has supplied my needs through the prayers and financial support of a small number of churches and individuals who believe in what I do and have seen the fruit of this labor.
If you desire to support my ministry, you can do so through regular mail or through the CashLinq donation link provided. Cashlinq is a Christian direct-giving program that allows you to follow your giving history and the cost to At the Well Ministry is minimal.
Thank you for standing with me.
