I called the Fresno warriors to let them know I would not be at the abortion center the next morning only to get a call in the morning that "we have been shot at."

The area around the killing place is a terrible neighborhood and very dangerous. In my last newsletter I told you about some of the demonic elements there. So it was not a real surprise that something like this could happen.

However, in the midst of the darkness the light shines bright...as we go into the danger zone to proclaim the Lord. There are babies saved and lives challenged at this spot.

Below photo, the next week as Matt talked to the police and Jarod witnessed to a client, the bravest abolitionists showed up for the challenge. I wasn't so sure if anybody would show up again the next week to rescue babies and their moms...

...but here they came - a group of prayer warriors including their associate pastor who had heard about the shots fired. They came to pray over the spot and actually walked over to the spot where the shooter had shot through the fence. That's right! They stood in the very spot where we think the shooter had been...and still could return... AND THEY PRAYED!

I was moved with inner honor to the Lord and His wink to us at that moment.

These people so ministered to us.

We've always known that there is great risk sidewalk counseling and we could be killed; well, at least our bodies. And as the times are very hostile right now, there is an increased danger on the streets.

But it is worth it for the cause of the Kingdom.

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and the cruel man. For You are my hope, O Lord God; You are my trust from my youth. Psalm 71:4-5

Beyond the women going into the abortion center you can see a chainlink fence. That is where the shooter was located.

Over 500,000 babies have been exterminated here since 1969. This place is part of a chain of mills from Modesto to San Diego owned by a dentist.

It has been one month and the police have done very little to solve this attempted murder. They are very busy with other unrest in their city.

But we will stand and trust the Lord.

A Christian businessman who owns a security company was moved of God to come and stand with us for awhile.

The Lord is good.

Below is a TIMELY email I just received.

Hello Don,

 I’m not sure if you are the right person but I’m pretty sure you might be. In January 2004 I had an appointment to terminate my pregnancy, on my 16th birthday. I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, I was scared and embarrassed of what people were going to think of me. I had always been “the good kid.” I never got into trouble and tried to always be a good person. I ended up pregnant at 16 though, with twins. My mom, my boyfriend (the dad), and myself drove to the clinic. You and a group were there yelling out why I shouldn’t do it. I walked up to the front door and stood there crying. I never even touched the handle of the door. I knew I wasn’t doing it because I truly wanted to, so I walked back to the car with my boyfriend. My mom talked to you a few minutes and then we left.

My daughters was born 6 months later, a month premature. One of my twins passed away an hour and a half after birth, but that was God’s choice. Two years later I passed by there and you were there with your group. You met my daughter and gave me your number. Fast forward to 2020, my daughter will be turning 16 years old next month.

I now have two girls, my other one will be 11 in a couple of months. Last night we were going through a couple of my memory boxes I have and came across the little book “two love letters” with your phone number and an address on the back. I googled the address and found this email address. I hope this is you. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for helping me realize that at that moment I was about to do something that was not right. You are one of the reasons my daughter is here today. A reason I get to love her and be loved by her. A reason I had the opportunity to watch the person I created grow and turn into the beautiful young lady that she is today. My daughter has such a gentle heart. She’s very loving and respectful. She has a good head on her shoulders and an innocent mind. She loves to sing and loves animals. She truly is one of a kind.

For 36 years I have stood in the gap and have seen God's provision and fingerprints all over this ministry. On occasion I get these powerful notes of encouragement and they always give me resolve to seek to rescue more babies and their moms from destruction. I hope to meet this wonderful mother and her daughters soon over lunch.

The above letter is why I do what I do, standing with other like-minded warrior abolitionists in the "fields ripe..."

We are busy at abortion centers in California and are finding many people willing to talk to us in spite of the mask issue.

Most of us do not wear masks and are speaking the truth to all who will listen.

In the Bay area, Matt and Alex effectively rescued this woman from the clutches of the Planned Parenthood center. She thanked us for being out there to help her get the courage to tell her wimpy boyfriend she would not abort her baby.

Even though there is much turmoil in the world right now, we at Project Truth/At the Well Ministries are looking for hot spots of evangelism and impact.

The coming college outreach is going to be tough this year in California because of our crazy governor, but I am constantly looking for colleges in other states where we can take our message.

We keep a constant presence at the abortion mills and will engage where the doors are open at the coming fall season for colleges, even if the colleges are in other states nearby.

A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness...and the redeemed shall walk there... Isaiah 35:8
